JCI Tinsukia was inaugurated on 7th September 2014 under the charter presidentship of Jc Sumit Khaitan and with a total strength of 25 dedicated members. The chapter sinces its inception have been one of the active chapters and have organised a lot of activities in every field. As the motto of JCI is self development,the organisation have been organising a lot of soft skill training programs for members and public in general. The seminars and traning programs are conducted by leading trainers of JCI India and name few are, Effective Public Speaking, Positive Parenting, Life at 360*, Body Language, Couple Training Program and Buisness Seminars.

The chapter have also organised many public programs like Dandiya Nite, Hasya Kavi Samelan, Summer Camp Fun Villa and Diwali Lottery as fund raising and entertainment programs. The chapter has undertaken projects for school students. we organised a science exhibition with Regional Science Centre, Guwahati and organised many traning programs in various schools and colleges. The four toilet blocks were constructed at a school in makum area under the national flagship project SAMADHAN
